Metal-Flex®, in existence since 1981, is known throughout the world as a leader in welded bellows technology. Our products are used in semiconductor, aerospace/aircraft, Ultra-High Vacuum (UHV), and many other research, industrial and commercial applications. Metal-Flex® performs design, manufacturing, and testing activities in house, which allows us to react quickly and precisely to your changing needs. What We Do
Metal-Flex® manufactures edge welded bellows from 0.200" I.D. through 14.000" O.D., with many sizes in between. If we do not have the exact bellows size you need, we can manufacture a stamping die, in house, to meet your needs. The length of your final assembly is only limited by your application, as we have welded assemblies with lengths in excess of 15 feet. With our machine shop on site, we are able to manufacture everything from the simple tube or conflat job to the most complex flange assembly, in a timely manner with the highest quality standards. We also specialize in quick turn around for bellows rebuild/repair. By re-using the end flanges from damaged bellows you can save yourself time and money, and limit downtime. Our Quality Control, which consists in part of inspection, leak testing and scheduled welder certification, through weld bead analysis, allows us to ensure the highest quality for our product.

To better serve our customers, Metal-Flex® initiated the process of obtaining ISO 9001 certification in 1994. After just one attempt, Metal-Flex® was certified in February of 1996. We have maintained our certification through periodically scheduled audits and gauged our success through annual customer surveys. Metal-Flex® feels that the ISO process ensures our strength in the design and manufacturing of the highest quality welded bellows products.
